I’m new in an internal role where I find the general culture is to criticize outside vendors work but not provide direction or actionable feedback, only “that it doesn’t hit the mark” (but nobody says what the mark is). Is this simply a lead by example situation or does anyone have any other tips. Thanks!

Currently in the final stages of the interviewing process for a "non-partnership track attorney" position at a top-ranked big law firm. I graduated from law school in 2019, and my eventual goal would be to work as an Associate on the partnership track at a medium-sized firm. Due to a recent company-wide increase and additional pay for bilingual direct reports I am only making a dollar and change above them as their supervisor. I was hired into this position in March, having been the first employee in this department. I really tried to get them to budge on salary, they did not, but shortly after accepting they gave the whole company a dollar raise.

I have an interview coming up for a Case Manager position for the in-home care company. I would have 16 patients in my caseload 9 locally & 6 out of town. The company said the case managers are the backbone to their organization. Is the workload much greater than the in home nurse? Would a Case Managers make more an hour bc of their leadership decisions & caseload they are responsible for? In Indeed the ranges for salary varied. What would you negotiate for in NW Ohio area?

I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.
