Im new in the UK and wondering how much I should be making atm as a sustainability consultant for built environment? Gross salaries seem to be ok but there is not much left after the tax! Is 1600 a month as a take home pay normal or am I being underpaid?

I run 2 departments (EEG technicians and EKG technicians) I have 7 direct reporting managers below me and 100 technicians who umbrella under them and they are scattered across the US. I have a return offer from a big 4! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience as an intern and have no complaints. Would love to go back.

However, a bit confused if I should try and recruit with MBB’s or if I should accept the big 4 offer already and take the sign on bonus?

Would it be a blunder to NOT try recruiting with MBB’s ? Besides the monetary aspect, what are the other things I’d have to think about?

Has anyone had a comp plan change 5 months into the year and be retroactive and have a serious impact on earning potential while doubling quota? Am a rep who generates a significant Percentage of overall revenue for a series C company. They’ve also add a windfall clause which is pretty subjective. Any advice?

Need help thinking through this…Debating leaving to a tech startup. Very early stage ($3-7M ARR), would have a big role leading strategy and Ops. It’s a cash paycut, which is a bummer but the equity would be pretty good. Just nervous about leaving before hitting the full manager role and taking a paycut in this market to bank on equity. Wondering where I should focus us as a services industry for big impact: we have a large product innovation, digital engineering area, and know in the past we've had a lot of lip service to clients and only recorded ESG for their compliance.
