That voice is your alcoholism. You got this!
Play the tape before you pick up
The voice lies. stay stopped. remind yourself why you stopped- all those reasons are still there.
Where are you located? And it helps to call someone when you get that feeling. Also that’s so great that you have a voice telling you otherwise!
^Amen
Work the steps and work them hard. The point is to find a spiritual solution you wouldn't trade for anything.
Look up Naltrexone and use it through the Sinclair Method. (It's a medicine that actually works). There is a documentary called One Little Pill (you can find it on Amazon Prime Video) watch it, it's legit and it works!
You're falling out of your pink cloud. Pretty normal. I tell my sponsees that the first three months are like a boot camp. I won't tell them what to do, but I will make suggestions. Especially when they're 24 y/o boneheads wanting to "go out." In my case, by month 3-4, I was working the steps, experiencing the psychic change and going out to events and functions sober. Naltrexone may keep the drink out of your hand, but the steps will change you permanently. Remember, you can go anywhere and do anything if you have the right reason. If you can't, you still have an alcoholic mind. And that's a bad place to be. Works if you work it, my friend.
