Hi Team, Can someone advise on this - I completed 2 rounds with Infosys, 1 technical and 1 managerial. Right after the managerial round I got email from HR to fill an application form and give other details. It has been 3 days since then and no update. On the portal it is showing 3 interviews as green and in review data in yellow. What does this mean? Tech - DevOps / 5.8 years Infosys
Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

Well I definitely check Glassdoor. I also usually assume a position is open because the prior guy who had it quit. Possibly because of overwork/burnout, lack of advancement, poor pay, poor raises, or some other wonderful reason that the employer will be deceptive about.

I still find it useful to look for patterns in the reviews though. If multiple folks mention poor raises or burnout, that’s a red flag worth paying attention to. At the end of the day, I just want to be informed enough not to walk into a mess disguised as a “great opportunity.” 😅
I tend to do a lot of research on companies before applying too, but take it all with a grain of salt. People tend to only discuss previous jobs if they were exceptionally happy or extremely upset, so you’re usually seeing the extreme ends.

Totally get what you’re saying emotions can really color the reviews we read online. I try to look for patterns in the feedback instead of getting swayed by one dramatic rant or overly glowing praise. It’s wild how the same company can seem like a dream or a nightmare depending on who’s talking. Thanks for the reminder to keep a balanced perspective when digging through all that info.

Same here! I’m basically a job-stalking detective before I even hit “apply.” Glassdoor reviews, Reddit threads, TikTok rants - you name it. Found some wild stuff once, like a company with zero work-life balance and questionable management. Saved me from a nightmare. Anyone else uncovered red flags that made you nope out?

Same here—I’m basically a job-stalking pro at this point. Found one company with rave reviews but tons of “stay away” comments buried deep. Glad I spotted those before wasting time. Doing the homework pays off big time.
