I have both. It can make medication management pretty difficult, and I have to watch out for periods that feel like hyper-focus but are really hypomania.

I used to think I had ADHD and turns out I’m narcoleptic lol. Fortunately, narcolepsy and ADHD get the same pharmaceutical treatment.

I've been diagnosed with both. I'm honestly not certain which is more accurate, but therapy and meds for both have been effective on and off over the last 20 years. I think it can be hard to get an accurate diagnosis as an adult, because you've got ingrained routines and processes - and it can be very hard to tell what's a coping mechanism, what's a negative feedback loop, and what's a symptom.

What are people’s ADHD med schedules like? I’d love to have coverage that lasts all day, but still lets me sleep.

How do you all deal with time management - and specifically time estimate - problems?

I always underestimate how long things will take, both because we ADHD’ers view time differently and because I don’t build in time for getting distracted.

I work with a partner who asks me by when I can get something done rather than giving a deadline. I appreciate the flexibility but I always short sell myself and end up pulling all-nighters to meet my self-imposed unrealistic deadlines.
