If you sign up in a physical Chase building before March 12th, you'll get the 100k spending bonus offer. Otherwise it's 50k
CSR is worth it hands down. Amex Plat might be worth it if you 1). Can get their 100K MR points sign up and/or 2) Fly Delta, are not Diamond and want to do the skylounge
Sapphire reserve definitely was with the 100k point sign on bonus. Not sure what the bonus is now. Even without it, you get a $300 travel credit so the annual fee is more like $150 and you earn 3pts per dollar on dining and travel spend, which adds up quickly if that is the majority of your $30k spend and what you anticipate in the future. I'm. It as familiar with all the benefits of the Amex Personal Platinum. If you fly in an out of airports with Centurion lounge, that access is a nice perk
OP, I dropped $3k on gear at REI, then went hiking in Patagonia for a few weeks. I feel you.
Amex sends targeted 100k mailers on occasion. Got mine a few weeks ago.
Do you think any of the companies are going to bring back the 100k points sign on bonus anytime soon?
CSR is great. The card rebates you the first $300 in travel expenses which brings the $450 annual fee down to $150. Sign on bonus is worth $500 in cash or $750 in travel (it was double that until recently). Free global entry and priority pass is nice add, but I wouldn't recommend these as deciding factors
I think D1 is correct
Charged 30k? Bad breakup? Been there, man. Been there.
@A2 now that I think about I did get out of a super toxic relationship last February and my friends and I were in the club buying bottle service ever week during the spring and summer.
You can still get the CSR bonus if you apply at a chase bank in person before mid March!
