While the market is cheaper in some respects, housing is not. How far can I expect this firm to go to in terms of compensation? Any negotiation tips?

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I am being head hunted more frequently. I am in the final stages for one position that seems like an amazing opportunity with a company that plans to go public this year and was just approached for another potential opportunity for a big company that went public last year. Ever feel like an opportunity is too good to be true or are these great opportunities really out there? I think I am just scared to take the leap of faith
