I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

I have a few regulars I genuinely love to see. You start sharing little tidbits, ask about the family or the dog, and that goes a long way. It’s a real smile when I see them come in and get to catch up for a bit.
Definitely! I’m in a smaller area, so it’s nice to have that bit of community even if it is just once or twice a week!
I don't build them intentionally, it just kind of happens. You see the same couple of faces at your tables every week or two and just naturally build up rapport with them. They're the one part of my job I really like. I've got the sweetest older guy who always asks to sit in my section. Makes my day when I see him come in.

That’s honestly the best part of the job. Those regulars make the long shifts worth it. And a sweet familiar face like that definitely sounds like a highlight of your day 😊

Love this question. I build relationships with my regular customers by engaging with them and finding out what they may need. That’s how they usually open up to me. It impacted my role by building a clientele and a promotion within my company.

That’s a great approach. Building that kind of trust really does make a difference, customers open up so much more when they feel heard. Love how it’s even helped you grow your clientele and get promoted 👏
