We had a brief 20 minute consultation but I quickly realized i couldnt afford her and would have to save. Fast forward to now and i reached out to her again but she refused to take me on because i didnt watch any of her YouTube content. It was a very weird & frustrating exchange—considering the amount of $$$ almost spent.

Hello! I've been struggling the last few weeks because someone on my team has been taking credit for my work. This coworker is really good with buzzwords and getting the attention of upper management. I'm feeling discouraged - what should I do?

I think there should be more males caretakers in this world. Some of my clients just feel more comfortable with a guy and it's kind of sad how often they say I'm the only male they could find.

Need advice - I've been talking to a Partner contact at a big-4 firm where I REALLY want to work. She sent my info to the managing partner in my city, but I haven't heard anything for about 3 weeks. Been playing it cool because I know these things can take time, BUT, I just got let go from my current firm. I have til 12/15 to find a new job.

I’ve been working for a small investment firm for about a year and am having some issues with my boss. We have a weekly check-in but he’s ALWAYS 2-3 hours late, or skips the meeting altogether without warning. He also never replies to any of the emails I send. I already spoke with him about these issues, but things haven’t really changed. I really like the work I do but I’m starting to feel frustrated about the situation. Any advice? Or anyone else in a similar situation?

I have a rogue 1st year analyst who is promising things to a client he has no business promising. He shouldn't even be talking to the client. This kid isn't gonna last long.

I have a CD that gets extremely flustered when you ask them for their opinion on a solution. For example after showing them multiple color pallets and CD not quite liking any of them (real Goldie locks moment) i suggested why not we do (fill in three colors here), the CD freezes up and gets annoyed because they don’t want to say yes or no without seeing it in front of them. Working on tight turn arounds and a cd who is too busy for meetings it proving tough with remote working. Any tips?

My manager scheduled a feedback conversation and I know it's bc I've made some noticeable mistakes lately due to moving too fast, not being able to focus, racing thoughts, etc. I'm seeing a therapist about whether I have ADHD and if so, what tx looks like; we started the intake process which will be continued in my 2nd appointment, which is after the feedback convo meeting. Is it worth telling my mgr something eg I recognize the careless mistakes and I'm in the process of seeing tx to help?

How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?

I need help figuring out if I’m being underpaid. I’m working in real estate private equity and I focus on fund models and property valuations. I’m currently at base $80k and 20% bonus. On top of that I have 5 years experience and a masters in finance. I’m good at my job and receive positive reviews from everyone. Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?
