When you leave a longish gig do you send out a thanks it’s been fun email to everyone you worked with?

Things have been super stressful at work lately for a variety of reasons & a couple of weeks ago I decided to raise the issues with my Creative Director.
For context, he’s the reason for a lot of these problems and I (tactfully, I think) said as much. He listened to me patiently but took no responsibility and deflected blame with every issue raised.
Today he asked me to send an email to him about how overworked I am so that he can use it to talk to management. (cont. in comments)

Been on a project for 2 weeks and thinking it’s not for me. The manager is kind of rude when I ask for help/direction, but he always says to ask if things are uncertain. He always has this condescending attitude and just keeps telling me that he expects more of someone at my level, C. I just keep feeling anxious that I’m not meeting expectations and feel reluctant to ask for help. Anyone in the same boat?

I just picked up a new freelance gig after coming out (again 😮‍💨) but professionally and they're really respecting my pronouns! They did a whole thing where they're having people add their pronouns to their email signature too 🥰

They never make a deal out of it and if they mess up they correct and move right along. They're from the Midwest and some of the team is older too so its really nice 😅

Just got let go and my manager said part of it was because I was looking for other jobs. I didn't look for other jobs at work, so I'm not sure how they could have known that unless a coworker snitched on me. Is it worth it to try and find out who or should I just leave it? What is the advice on what feedback to leave for a peer who really sucks at everything y'all have worked together on? Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

Is charging $1 per word reasonable for someone w/10 years of copywriting experience?

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?
