In the time between talking to the Booz recruiter and having a first interview, I will have already been contacted by another recruiter, interviewed twice, and gotten an offer.

What company was that? Bigger company’s tend to move slowly

That being said, my interview process was insanely quick, referred on a Thursday, recruiter next Tuesday, interview with manager, and VP following Wednesday.
I feel 3 weeks is quick...

Booz recruiters and the process are horrendous but the work/life balance and team support are great.

A recruiter from Booz emailed me and then i responded to set up a call and never heard from them again. Thought that was a little odd since they reached out to me

Yikes. I wish I could say I was surprised. I've taken a screenshot of this and will be forwarding it to our recruiter.

Hi Fishes,
Need some positive suggestions.

I'm a data analyst(SQL, Python, ETL, Viz) with 6.5yrs exp at LTI(1 Month exp).
I left PWC AC after 6 months of joining because of the nature of dabba work I was getting(80% testing/documentation, 20% technical). Worked for 12+ hrs everyday and wanted to have some wlb.

Now in LTI, life is too peaceful and there's no technical work in current project. I'm getting thoughts like I'm wasting my skills by taking less tech projects at this stage of career.

I'm thinking 120-135k would be bad/mediocre, 180-195k would be possible/a stretch, and 160-170k would be doable/realistic. Thoughts? Not interested in Deloitte.

Is Federal/Public Sector consulting fulfilling work? I'm at a tier 2 consulting firm right now focused on retail clients, and I just feel like there is zero point to this work. Its all about increasing sales of a product that people could easily live without. As an Associate, I just move boxes around on PPT slides all day. Looking for better WLB and fulfillment in my work, thinking that might be Public Sector work.

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.
