Can someone provide your reviews so far about the company, mainly looking for learning, wlb can be compromised a bit.
Also, what should be the general expected salary for the role and tech in NielsenIQ ?
Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

Which team is this?
I work at rbc so can help
Absolutely not from what my friend said they kept asking him if hes willing to work long hours/late
Go for something else. It is a big bank. Not all big companies are good. Long hours without overtime pay is a general trend you will get to see. By all means there is no harm in accepting the offer but this is what i have been hearing from a LOT of developers. The timelines are cringe, technical projects led by non technical leads and managers expecting you would fill in every gap. Do your work, train them, even though you will be in a developing team there only so much space before you hit burn out and wish you were else where. Now that they advertise themselves as the number 1 bank and max profitability over the years they will get you working overtime for sure to keep profits high and this will be done by proving you with half baked assumings roles where as a role 1 you will be expected to own the project though there would be leads and managers taking the credit.
But! It depends on the department and team you would be joining. Hopefully you get a lead or manager you deserve! And hope it would be a give and take relationship and not uni directional.
Best of luck my friend. Don’t take my word for it. Ask few others. Ultimately perspectives perspectives. But reality is reality.
