I got offer on Citiustech Healthcare Technologies
May I know how WLB in this company, I see in glassdoor and ambitions contains positive and negative. Is it worth to join? Is it useful for me to enhance my career for long run? How about the retention pay? If we leave the company we need to pay entire retention pay?I have other wipro and CTS, which company is better to join?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

L1 visa here. Stuck. Until I get green card. I don’t want to leave, but I feel like I’m underpaid and I can’t interview somewhere else to show them proof.
Same here Mck2.. Good luck!!
And here I thought McK people wouldn’t have any problem applying (at least compared to the rest of us). Thanks for the perspective... good luck!!
Ditto to what McK2 said. Stuck in McKinsey and no way to interview. Also think there’s better things out there but a GC is way off.
Had one horrible study. Found other studies to be really good. So my advice would be to search for the right people to work with. While the pressure to perform at the firm is a lot, the right EMs, APs and Partners make it worth it and support you & the team when the client is being a dck.
If you HAVE to quit, then slow down. Take PTO, Trigger Take Time, Trigger Search, etc. However, make sure you aren't doing that during a time when the market is down (e.g. end of the year). Be smart about the timing and keep applying for jobs. Your resume/LinkedIn need to be stellar.
It is definitely risky with H1B, but if you time yourself, and ensure you leverage the firm's goodwill, especially during Search, you should be fine.
I had to do this when I was at a Big4, and paced myself for 6-7 months (from the moment I decided to quit, to starting my day 1 @McK). H1B processing was a bit slow then (took 2 months or so), but I didn't burn any bridges anywhere and yet decided to quit on my own terms.
for me, yes. that's an accurate summary.
Same boat, struggling to get a job
Advice I’ve received from other McK fish was to network your ass off and then do your best to cobble together PTO and take time to make yourself structurally unstaffable for a bit so you can go interview.
Oops didn’t see where OP specified L1. More applicable for TN or H1B
Take time / time for you?
If you’re on an L1 - do you have to wait till you get the green card to switch jobs or till a certain point in the process?
YES
It depends on what you feel comfortable with. You can slow down your output. Even if your done with something, say you're still working on it. Ask for more time than you really need. Make up medical reasons for being unresponsive after hours or coming in late. Delegate as much as you can to VG, analytics, research. You'll figure it out.
M2 you are at McK and feel under paid? How/why?
They don’t pay their developers market rate.
