My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)
Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

Just being polite unfortunately.
I’ve had it mean something! It does require you to proactively reach out again though. In both cases, I reached out ~6months to a year later with a short update on myself and got another interview (and landed the job both times)
They said they'd reach out if any roles fit my background/interests
You'll never know. Just keep swinging.
It’s literally their job to stay in touch. When they have a role you could fill, they’ll reach out. But don’t leave it up to them, continue to apply to jobs you see too.
Doesn’t mean anything in my experience.
I got a job at Google after more than 1 rejection and "stay in touch". They reached back out to me for a different role and I got the offer.
In my experience, we do call back folks who we interviewed in the past and did not make the cute for a given role. and we have made offers to them as well. Remember recruiters are measured on hiring,. While you were not selected for a given role, you might be a fit for another role or a similar role in the future or as you mature and gain experience in your field. Staying in contact with recruiters is a good practice
You're thinking to much
I have told this to candidates before as the hiring manager. When I like them.
Rising Star
I think they do mean you’re a viable candidate. Unfortunately, other requisitions and candidates take priority, and their job is to fill roles for the company, not the other way around.
