Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

Easiest way to screw up a google interview is to show up in a suit . They will mark you as unfit on cultural grounds . Happened to multiple people I know
Don't wear your suit. They say "it makes the interviewer uncomfortable" bc they are informal
I wore black jeans and common projects. I once interviewed a guy who came in from a surf session - tank top, board shorts, espadrilles. We hired him.
I would say for interview go with formal. Once you join, you can follow their dress code.
I've heard of folks being told to change to jeans and collared shirt. if it were me I would wear dark blue jeans, collared shirt and sport coat.
No suit, chinos, smart shoes and a sweater will do. A friend of mine interviewed at amazon and wore chinos a polo and some driving shoes back in the summer
It depends on the location. Here in Silicon Valley it’s definitely questionable to wear a suit. Shirt and jeans is ideal and slacks only if you absolutely must.
I’ve interviewed at Google, wear jeans and smart shirt. Do not wear a suit for any role
I have a friend who interviewed in a T-shirt for an internship and got the offer if that says anything
Don’t wear a suit. You will automatically be out because you are not “googly “ enough. Polo shirt or button down and nice dark jeans with some nice suede shoes.
