Upcoming Data Analyst Interview with Healthcare startup company - Clarify Health Solutions. There are 6+ rounds and I’ve only made it through one. Super anxious as I’ve seen online that they tend to ghost throughout the process and it’s hard to get an offer. Can anyone provide any tips or pointers?

I think that depends what you mean by total comp. that feels like the appropriate cash number, but 250 at Microsoft could be 180 in cash and 70k in stock that vests over time, which I think is below market. Just one data point, but I left as a first year EM in a major non NY/Bay Area metro for 190 base, 60 (basically guaranteed) bonus, and 60k Long term incentive a year
9 years out of undergrad including MBA
What role? You’re aiming just right I think
Microsoft is a big company so I’m sure you can find salaries for comparable positions online to benchmark yourself. But in general, a 10-30% raise sounds about right when leaving consulting.
Check out the free Charles Aris salary reports on former consultants if you haven’t yet.
My brother is 25 and making 350 at msft as an engineer..
Software or data engineer?
So I actually received an offer and turned it down after negotiating so hard.
Base $170, bonus target 15%, stock $50k over one year only, sign on $30k, relo $25k.
Both recruiter and hiring manager insist this is the highest L64 can go, although I have heard of better packages.
Sorry, I’m sure it’s frustrating to get so close and have to turn down an offer but I think you did the right thing. Maybe you can push for a higher level now or down the road
I was hoping for 190 + 60 between stock and bonus. So should I push for more? Also do you know how flexible they are typically on location?
Definitely push for more, 200 + 50 trad. bonus + 50 stock bonus
Corp strat at msft doesn’t nearly make as much as that until the very senior levels
Would MS 🐠 know base+variable+stock for Global Business Manager?
This seems a little low unless you’re desperate to leave. As a PL1 at BCG you technically make “300k all in” - 195 base, 40% max bonus, 10% profit sharing... I’m sure mck is somewhere similar so would use that to guide discussions.
