Simple path to wealth

The psychology of money by Morgan housel.

Best written book on personal finance I’ve read in 25+ years.

If You Can, Millionaire Next Door

Tacky name but I Will Teach You to Be Rich by Ramit Sethi helped change my view on money solely from just the numbers and the spreadsheets. Highly recommend simple path to wealth and the psychology of money as others have recommended. Morgan Housel (author of the psychology of money) also hasa blog that I follow that I always find insightful (not always money related).

Also the little book of common sense investing by John Bogle will help you dive into the numbers on index investing. Millionaire next door is also great.

Random walk down the Wall Street, besides Simple Path to Wealth and Psychology of money

So something crazy happened to me last week. I was at the airport, and as usual on call after call. The check in line was going ridiculously slowly and at some point turned threw my hands up in frustration while looking around to find another place to check in. In doing so, I catch the eye of the behind me. He smiles and says something. I just sort of nod and carry on with my call. After that, he keeps trying to talk to me, eventually I got to the check, say bye and leave. At security… tbc

In your experience how have social impact organisations been impacted by covid19?

Anyone from EY UK could help out that would be great.
I applied to the EY UK Elevate program Audit Senior. My application was rejected and immediately I got another email, confirming my application for Audit Senior - UK wide program.
I logged into my portal and saw that for the Audit Senior - UK wide program it was written "Forwarded as Applicant You have been added as an applicant to this requisition."
Has this ever happened with anyone? Is it a good sign?

Best place to get pre-qualified for a mortgage?

I have some collections on my credit report. One from an electric company for $800 (imo they violated terms of contract and sent me to collections in spite of their fuck up), and an apartment for $80~ that charged me a cleaning fee when my apartment was spotless.

Despite these two collections have a 712-720 credit score.

So mortgage lenders care at all about the collections or is it mostly the credit score that matters?

Anyone using Edward Jones? Feel like we did a mistake and rolled over all my husbands retirement accounts from different employers and our kids 529 under them Jan 2020. Since then market is down and accounts lost20%. But the fees every month is pretty high around $200. I am worried to move it to fidelity or some other place and manage myself(not very confident), then I have to sell all of the Edward Jones managed funds and buy new. sell low buy low makes sense but don’t want to loose anymore.
