Well if you don’t have a hike in the past 2.5yrs. I’d say any increment is a good hike
What is your typical raise and what is your typical promotion %? If that is greater than the average of two years combined then you have your answer
Sounds like you've got your answer (maybe). If this switch feels like a big deal, especially after being “stuck” for 2.5 years, then it might be the right call. Just think about what the new gig involves and whether you're up for it and excited about it.

Jokes apart, not sure about the market rate here in Canada. Hence asking if 27% is a good percentage to jump.
