I can use a drink
Hi Team,
Hope you guys are doing well. I am planning to join Kyndryl on band 7b for cybersecurity domain. Want to know how is the environment there in terms of job security, wlb and hike? There are mixed reviews all over the places reg Kyndryl so posting here to get insight form you.Kyndryl Inc.
Also anything else you would like to add is good for me to decide as I have to choose between Accenture and Kyndryl (I was with Accenture and know what I will be getting and work there).
My boss hits on me—and I kinda like it.
I hate being an attorney. How do I get out.

Weird flex but ok
33 is below average. I would say average skews closer to 40 for PMD’s. Some being younger (home grown), some being older (exp hires, MBA hires)
Damn I am waaaay behind the curve 🤦♂️
I was made a partner at 27 but I declined. I wanted to live life on my own terms.
I’m not a partner to all those salty folks calling me out for the “weird flex”. Just asking a question. Thanks to all those who answered with something useful.
These days you’re seeing a lot of folks between the age of 33-36 becoming Partners/Principals/MDs. Especially if you’re homegrown from college at your firm and have been naturally progressing (and being top tier) in your role(s).
At Big 4, this is not true. Anything under 36 is an exception. Even with an MBA, average tends to be close to 38.
Since 2008, average partner age has risen 5/6 years. So while at one time it was t unusual, it’s definitely on the bleeding edge these days
I made partner at big 4 at 33. Definitely younger than average, but I found that my peers treated me as equal.
Consulting or audit?
That would be below average for an undergrad-joiner MD at BCG, assuming no break for MBA and bleeding edge for someone who took the traditional 2 year MBA break, homegrown or otherwise.
