Processing time for cpa license in MA?
Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Absolutely if it’s NYU or Gtown. And get Deloitte to reimburse you. Then go to a law firm.
AA1, just curious, are you now in government (based on your title)?
Is there a reason you want to pursue a LLM? Are you trying to switch to big law?
Curious because historically, most big law tax associates and partners look for candidates with JD/LLMs but I feel as though it’s not as big of a requirement anymore. I moved from big4 to big law without having an LLM and most of my colleagues in big law did not have LLM.
PwC1 - I was in big4 international tax for 4 years before I made the lateral move. I was hired as a 3rd year associate. I worked with a recruiter at the time, but my PG leader said that a referred candidate is preferred.
OP - I think that going to get an LLM is a more of a guaranteed way of getting into big law, but it’s not the only way. I hear you on the pay, I doubled my big4 salary once I started and it was nearly triple my big4 salary after 1 year at the law firm. Given the way the market is right now, most of the lateral hires for my old law firm were from big4 and they did not have LLMs, so it is doable!
