Is AMEX Gold/Rose card the best credit cards for its annual fee?

CSR is best by far for points, benefits, and overall value. Amex plat is best if centurion lounge access is important to you. Mastercard double cash best for value, Costco best for restaurants/gas.

I personally have Amex Plat for lounges and airfare/hotel purchases, Costco for gas/restaurants, Amazon Chase for Amazon/Whole Foods, and Fidelity for everything else (2% cashback).

Gold is alrite for accumulating points in a very specific way (restaurants/grocery), but not great as an all-around card which is why I canceled after a year. I would have kept it if I didn't have the Costco card.

Csr is good but I haven’t traveled in a long time. I like my gold because I spend most of my money on food and groceries. But still pissed Costco doesn’t accept Amex 😡

Taking a gamble here. 25 OXY $16Cs for 4/9 and 25 OXY $17Cs for 4/9. $0.20 and $0.08 respectively. Very high risk but have gains on other OXY trade that I don’t mind risking on this.

I'm going to accept an offer that's 150k+🎉 I'm a single filer, no kids. I'll be able to max out: 401k, HSA, but from my understanding, I will not qualify to utilize IRA? Aside from building a 6-month emergency fund (HYSA), what are potential next investment vehicles? I do know I want to start purchasing real estate for cash flow. But what about mega-backdoor Roth IRA? I'll admit, I still need to read more on it.

Just curious what investment vehicles you're using to get to FIRE.

My friend just got out of a relationship and hooked up with his ex's best friend a week later. They're now dating and seeing each other everyday.
I couldn't help but feel like this wasn't an appropriate thing to do for both parties. He also revealed that he cheated on his past exes.

I'm naturally feeling a bit weary of his character and questioning whether this is a friend I want to keep close in my life. Perhaps I'm being too judgmental?
