Hi folks
I wanted a suggestion from you all guys, I have given interview of PS and got a call for offer after interview and I denied the offer as I have received an offer from some other company, I denied coz I was not doing offer shopping or piling offers, he tried to convince me and when I didn't get convinced he said to blacklist me from PS. What to do?

I have also recently cleared all interview rounds in TCS & HR Shared 'Salary Breakup'. Still, my status in the iBegin portal is not changing from 'Evaluation in Progress' to 'Evaluated' & so on, even after uploading all required documents. They had initiated the process 2 times, 1st on 16th Nov and 2nd on 24th. Please let me know, how long it will take to release the final offer letter. Thanks

Not sure what RSM is saying, we hire straight from audit all of the time. While I agree FDD experience will make you a much better candidate, plenty of people have had success straight from audit.
OP
1) make sure you’re a CPA, if you’re not already licensed
2) make sure you have stellar performance reviews
3) network with professionals in the group (LinkedIn, former colleagues, etc)
4) if you’re in an industry group, target that industry for recruiting
Edit: cold applying isn’t going to help. You need to get in touch with our recruiters or professionals at the firm
My experience as an A&M hopeful with a vouching manager there, has been what A&M1 says. I’ve been told to join my FDD practice / Big 4 or wait til Senior promo before I’ll be able to join. Most associate roles are reserved for fresh college grads
Gotta have transaction experience. Audit is an alright skill set to transition to B4 Transaction Advisory but you’re not a competitive candidate at A&m without TAS experience.
Hi, thx for the reply. So should I aim for internal transfers prior to applying for roles at A&M?
