Hey! I designed a cohort-based leader development program with a company I was with. It was a 9-month long Learning journey for our front-line leaders. It started from their onboarding period and finished after their first 9-months.

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? Can you shut the person down without starting a spat?

I applied for a Director Learning and Development (L&D) role at McKinsey about a month ago via a referral. About a week ago, my McKinsey employee (who referred me) received an automated email saying that I had moved to the pre-screening process of the recruitment process and that I'll hear from the recruiter shortly.

It's more than a week now and I haven't heard back. Can anyone shed light on the process -- what to expect, timelines, what is the interview process like, etc.

I’m noticing that a lot of recent graduates at my job don’t know many basic computer skills (ie. Copy and paste short cuts or how to use the Microsoft Suite at all). I’ve been tasked with creating trainings to teach them these skills but it’s concerning to see how this new generation is starting to lack these assets. What happened? Looking for some advice…I’ve been told that transitioning to L&D should be “easy“ given my experience and skills (résumé posted for reference - note that I adapt it per position). I have tried applying for specialist to Director positions but I’m not having much luck. Any suggestions on position type and level that I should be focused on. Hi everyone, I have a question about job transition. I want to transition into sales training. I have 9 YOE in sales account mgt and created some really effective trainings my office used and loved. After that I got 2 yrs in curriculum development elsewhere.

Hi there- I have a couple questions I’d love some insight on. What is a typical salary range for an associate dir or dir of learning & dev in NYC?

I just graduated with my PsyD in school psych & several years experience in education, clinical psych & also as an admin/EA at a marketing firm HQ but am planning on interviewing for learning & dev roles. Total burnout in education and mental health fields. Could this be an obtainable entry point level/role given my career snapshot above? Thanks!
