I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? I applied for a Director Learning and Development (L&D) role at McKinsey about a month ago via a referral. About a week ago, my McKinsey employee (who referred me) received an automated email saying that I had moved to the pre-screening process of the recruitment process and that I'll hear from the recruiter shortly.

It's more than a week now and I haven't heard back. Can anyone shed light on the process -- what to expect, timelines, what is the interview process like, etc.

Hi there! I am currently in the healthcare industry and I’m looking to make a move into the tech industry in a remote role. I’ve previously worked in tech, but under client services. I wonder if anyone has any advice on what kind of salary ranges I should be asking for. I have 13 years work experience with 2 of those in L&D, 3 degrees (BA IO Psych, BBA Marketing, MBA Strategy and Management). Thank you!

I’m noticing that a lot of recent graduates at my job don’t know many basic computer skills (ie. Copy and paste short cuts or how to use the Microsoft Suite at all). I’ve been tasked with creating trainings to teach them these skills but it’s concerning to see how this new generation is starting to lack these assets. What happened? Is anyone else experiencing this at their organization?

I have 20 years experience in Business Development, CRM, Operations Development, Onboarding, Staff Development, Proprietary Software administrator & trainer. Passionate about learning and mentoring others but lack familiarity with popular LMS platforms.

I just graduated with my PsyD in school psych & several years experience in education, clinical psych & also as an admin/EA at a marketing firm HQ but am planning on interviewing for learning & dev roles.
