What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Does being an MBA candidate impact the cost of car ownership or Uber rides? 🤔🧐
The first worldness….
It’s hard to get an Uber around Cal State East Bay. Recommend getting a car for sure.
Don’t need a car. Live walking distance

Take BART and Muni
Figure $300/month for parking vs. average of like $16/Uber within the city (unless you're doing like east/west coast to coast), with Ubers only getting more and more expensive (tbd price impact of CA overturning their labor law). So depends on how often you Uber.
It really matters where you are living. I don’t think that many haas students live in the city. If you’re living in Berkeley, I’d say get a car. When you go to the city take Bart and Uber. If you live in the city nix the car and use muni/Bart and Uber. Post covid, Uber has gotten much more expensive.

Honestly you don’t even need a car in Berkeley either, take AC Transit
Welcome to Haas 🙌🏼

You don’t need a car within San Francisco. You probably will need a car if you are living or studying elsewhere in the Bay Area.
Your question is akin to asking “Is having a car cheaper than ubering in Manhattan? I’ll be doing an MBA in the tri-state area.”

Why not just say the school? That matters alot lol....
Stanford -> you have caltrain
Berkeley -> you have bart

Go Bears
You will not need a car. Public transportation and Ubers are sufficient to move around in the city. If you want to drive to Napa, Tahoe etc just rent a car for the weekend.
