Would love some gift suggestions for the husband. He’s been super amazing and I wanna get him something super nice for our 4th year anniversary. Can’t do vacays or experiences because of the Covid and new baby combination! Don’t know if it helps, but he enjoys fancy gifts, not into drinking or smoking or gaming!Trying to keep it under the $500 ish range if possible!(Fully aware that it won’t get me something super fancy)

Any suggestions? I’ll owe anyone that’ll help out! 😅

I got my BIL a gift certificate to drive an exotic car at full tilt on a track. He was thrilled! I even got him a little RC car of a Ferrari (or Lamborghini) with the certificate.

I live in Dallas so the Texas Motor Speedway isn’t too far away. I did the same for my BIL who lives in NY. Just google exotic car rentals and options should pop up.

An Ooni pizza oven! Makes great pizza and is compact. Also fits the year four “appliance” category.

$500? Go to the local community airport and hire a helicopter to give you a tour of your area. Land it in your back yard for social media points

My husband got really excited about updating his old winter coat for a nice new one! I tend to go for things that he’d want but likely wouldn’t ever bother to get for himself.

like

Other things in the past my husband has gotten excited about that I thought weren’t at cool/flashy: a back support for the drivers seat of his car/car detailing, a couples massage, new cutting board. Simple but highly appreciated 🥰

bikes? cars? watches? whats the budget

Difficult to get a "nice"= luxury watch on that price. Probably more into electronics (ps5 or similar).
Experiences are more into the budget an its possible to do them from time to time.
Narrow list:
Electronics
Some very good shoes
Middle to low price watches
Adventure experiences:
Skydiving
Piloting a plane
Driving/karting courses

Need a budget!

Edited!

Does he golf? Voucher a round or two for a nice course in your area.

How about fancy chocolates or an article of clothing from a brand he really likes that's pricy?

Get some nice clothes + tailoring. Best thing I got myself recently was a pair of jeans and got them tailored to fit exactly right.

Opal Nugget Ice Maker. Makes sonic ice in the comfort of your home kitchen.

Does he cook? A really nice American made chefs knife would be cool.

Premium pair of noise canceling headphones, which can also be a placeholder for a future vacation, and a small sanctuary when it’s his turn to sleep when it’s your baby shift.

For watches: Hamilton khaki filed or a Seiko Presage would be good picks!

Does he play pc/video games and uses a chair while playing? My way of relaxing from work is to play games with buddies. My fiancée got me a gaming chair and I wanted to propose to her all over again.

An instrument!

Fancy kitchen (sushi grade) knife.
Inlaid cutting board.
Skydiving
Breville connection toaster oven.
Master class subscription.

I'm hungry.

Someone please tell me that I can get a rear facing child seat in the back of a mustang… otherwise it looks like I’ll have to buy a new family car to drive the little one around (wife doesn’t drive unfortunately).

Could be a good excuse to get a Taycan but was hoping I could just stick with my mustang. We said next car will be an EV didn’t think it would be so soon though!

I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

My mother-in-law says he’s worked on things, but it’s been 10 years of this and I’m not sure I want such behavior around my wife and our kids since we’re trying to conceive soon (cont).

Really struggling with a few students in my kindergarten class this year and looking for suggestions. I've been teaching K for 10 of the 16 years I've been a teacher, and have never felt as disrespected by students as I do this year. They are sent away from the group to reset and make a better choice, but usually continue when they return. Parent contact has been supportive, but hasn't helped.

With such increase I do not think it will be viable for long term. So planning to switch/port.
