I think if you are going to work for free, the first thing is to try to see it as a work experience that will strengthen you more in the future, that way you can make working without pay more enjoyable.
I suppose it;s okay then if it's for the sake of advancing my career
If it's worth it, I did several jobs without pay, one of which was my professional internships, from there after graduating I was hired and managed to reach many positions in the company, and now I'm a marketing manager.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
It all depends on the type of job, if you feel that your skills are being abused without adequate pay, it's time to get out of there, if you feel that you can still learn, keep going, it's that simple.
Well, that goes hand in hand with how you feel, remember that working for free is something reciprocal, that is, you offer your services but at the same time you must be learning something, just by learning a minimum thing I assure you that it will be worth it.
Yes, I have done it and thanks to that I have come so far in life, for 1 year I traveled offering free work, thanks to the work they gave me a place to stay, in this way I got to know a large part of Europe and what I did was help them with advice How to manage social networks.
Okay it's starting to seem like maybe it is worth it to do a little bit of free work for future opportunities
I would never suggest working for free. If you feel it's a must for you, look at a non-profit where your hours could do some good. Otherwise, people should be paying for your time.
