Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Generally, freelance. You need a lot and steady stream of business coming in in order to justify the start-up, overhead and salaries for building an in-house. It’s extremely hard to maintain that level year-round.
I’m an in-house shooter/editor and constantly have work. I can’t imagine how much money my agency would be spending if they hired a freelancer for everything I did.
You add value by shooting. That’s huge. But I feel like most in-house editors aren’t so versatile. Ours somehow keep their jobs by doing/know how to do the bare minimum. If you’re going to have FT in-house production, they should be saving you money, not burning it out back in a dumpster. The amount of money agencies waste is incredible.
Find an editor/shooter/animator. They exist and will save the agency and clients $$$. No one just has one speciality anymore.
Typically freelance as needed unless it's an agency specializing in retail or regional adaptations (auto, telecom. Etc)
Ok, so my agency is operating at a loss then? 2 full-time editors.
In that case, then i6’s probably not a good idea to have them there all the time. I’ve worked in agencies that had full time editors or post production people, but that’s because these agencies had a lot of need for low budget online content edition constantly or low budget TV spots for small clients or also to save money on stuff that was fairly non-complicated to edit. If something needed to be top notch then it was sent to an editing house outside. But these in-house people were busy all the time.
