Is it possible to earn a position such as Management Consulting Associate at PwC right out of a MACCY program from a public university and what does it mainly consist of work-wise? I saw that PwC just announced new advisory opportunities for Winter 2022 and Summer/Fall 2021 and the postings did not require much previous experience so I was curious if anyone knew

Some advisory groups yes you can get it, with a lot of networking and luck. If you’re aiming at the strat consulting shops such as PwC’s strategy &, no you can’t get in normally from a regular public university. Strategy & hires specifically from target schools, top 20 programs. If you’re not from those programs your chances are slim to none.
