Is it unfair to be discriminated against as a young person in the workplace?

I’m just leaving school and going on to University looking for a full time job or more than 1 shift every week. My manager is hiring new people and continuing to prioritise everyone else in the workplace over me. I live with my parents but rely on my own income to pay for everything including food and other expenses. I cannot afford to live any longer, but can’t leave my workplace as I can’t find a new job.any advice?
