Is it worthwhile to take a lower paying role to acquire my series 7 and etc licenses? I’m wanting to work more in investments. Context I make about 62k and a job available would put me down to 52k?

Depends on, the Series 7 (and others) has (highly recommended) to be sponsored and if there’s a company who will sponsor you to get it plus pay you while they teach you and train you to get I’d take it however the if you do it in your own and you pay for a course plus the amount for the exam would be about $700 or even a $1k (combined), downside you have to wait for some companies up to six months to get it or go some two months, plus you need experience in some cases to be hired at another paying rate. It’s up to you

My husband and I have saved up about $80K and it’s just sitting in our bank account. We thought we were going to buy a townhome but with the crazy inflated prices we decided not to since we like where we live currently (location could not be better and rent is crazy cheap at only $700 a month). How should we invest our money in the meantime while we save up for a house?

Taxpayers are abused the most in this country across the globe. It’s frustrating to see that only 1.5% of Indian population pay direct income tax, still govt. is milking them like anything and unable to do anything for these taxpayers. I’m paying 1 lakh tax every month, and what’s my return, 🔔🔔🔔,

If a tax payer loses his job , govt. is not even paying even few thousands for unemployment allowance, who have been paying lacs to government as tax. What’s your thoughts on Indian taxation?

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Background: got a promotion at current company that didn't come with sufficient increase . After stating my case I was told it would be evaluated next October, which is what prompted the initial job search.

Current TC 103K [88/15], offer 125k base [+discretionary bonus].

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
