I have 2 offers from siemens and tcs .Siemens pays 2 L bonus as extra but ctc part both are same.Which one to prefer as the Location for siemens in blore and tcs can be chennai.Im currently at chennai.
If i accept offer from tcs and not joined there then i can get into tcs in future because of rehire policies .I still have 40 more days to LWD.
I am thinking to reject tcs and wait for some other better offer pay or last choice to join in siemens .Please share your view Im consufed here

I think it’s all about the story you tell. A few short stints are fine if it makes sense why you moved on - and usually the acceptable reasons are around wanting more / bigger opportunities to make more impact or learn more specific skills.
Corporate loyalty doesn’t exist. If you have a good offer to jump, jump. You have a much better chance to move up the ladder by jumping. Companies want someone else to have trained you. When you get to C-level, you are in a company for the short term.

A 6 month jump one time is fine as long as narrative makes sense.
4 6 months jumps in a row are a red flag.

Corporate loyalty is bullshit. You stay as long as you get paid top billing, opportunities to make a mark and do work you love. If that’s not the case then you leave. I have jumped every 28 months or so. Shortest I have been at a place is 11 months. Made Director at 32. Each jump brought in at-least 40% hike in base pay.

I think 6 months is ok, if it’s not the same industry. If asked about it you can explain “it wasn’t what I expected, and found this other opportunity that aligned with my interests”
If you stay somewhere less than a year you’re either toxic or were fired
This guy has never dealt with toxic leadership or sweatshop environments.
I knew a VP that jumped from a job in less than 1 month. Do you boo!

When I interviewed at Microsoft they specifically asked me is I was at a job for less than two years and if so why I left
In this day and age it’s common but if the position is competitive or the hiring manager cares… it can matter

I’ll give you what a CEO once told me. Under a year he didn’t look at the resume. Under two he would ask questions. Three plus no issues
