Is there a general source for market salary at big law or boutiques for patent agents. Jumping ship from a boutique and considering big law. Interested to know the salary ranges.

not aware of one. believe it's heavily tied to experience. an experienced patent agent can probably pull a base salary comparable to an associate

like

The AIPLA economic report has the information that you want.

It indicates that firms with over 100 attorneys pay an average salary of about $160k for a patent agent. Boutiques pay less. Biotech agents with PhDs tend to get paid a little more.

Thanks, that’s really helpful!

Hello fishes, recently I have received the job offers from Akamai & Nasdaq with kind of equivalent pay. I've an experience of 2.7 yrs in Java Backend. In Nasdaq, I feel the project is slightly on better side and also domain driven in comparison of Akamai. The only thing that is troubling me is 90 days notice policy in Nasdaq. Just want to check if it's a bad thing or would it still be worthy against the project & domain.

One of my friends works as a Director in Nagarro. She has been there for 7 years and has a CTC of 42 with total yoe 17. Per current trend this is low even though she is a constant top performer. She says that even though delivery people play a pivotal role, they are not paid well. In her team, she sees technical people earning 45-50 at 10-11 yoe. So the factor is 2.5 for delivery vs 4.5 to 5 for technical roles. Per her, this is quite common in Nagarro & she is not an outlier. ctd in comments
