Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

DM me your book/link, I know people looking esp for women and POC. If your book is good/great—and I'll give you my opinion :) —I'm glad to pass it on to whomever.
@Creative Director 2 - I'm also a woman of color and am having a hard time getting traction in my job search. Would it be okay if I ran my portfolio by you for feedback?

there is no talent shortage. people are jumping around and leaving in record numbers, which means there are more openings and more talent out there than ever.
however, there’s lots of crappy creatives out there because of that, so when a good talent is found, agencies are jumping on them to fill the open positions, because they can’t find the good ones easily anymore, which is why negotiations are happening.
that’s why it FEELS like a shortage, but isn’t.
Totally relate as a fellow WOC also on the job search :/
Same!
I’d say in general, everyone in the industry is currently falling over themselves to hire both women and POCs, especially in creative roles where those groups are even more poorly represented than in the rest of advertising. So broadly, it seems like you should be in a really good spot. That said, “7 years agency experience” could leave you with a great book full of award winning ideas from top tier agencies or a bunch of b2b and pharma stuff from places nobody’s heard of. Can you talk a little bit more about your experience and work?

Are you ailing for an O1 visa to work in the US? Because you need awards for that.
There are a ton of open gigs at R/GA and Huge.
Same. I was getting real burnt out by doing several a week last month so I took a week off, but really haven't found anything that's felt like a great fit, and the one place I was interested in declined after a second interview.
I'm primarily shooting for non-UX in-house design roles though, so that's probably part of the obstacle.

How well does your portfolio represent your ability?
Pretty well I think !
