Start with the easiest stuff to rule out: if you're getting zero bites even with referrals, I'd look hard at whether the resume is getting filtered before a human sees it. Tech/entertainment roles in LA can be weirdly keyword heavy, and referrals don't always save a resume that parses badly.
I had a stretch like this where my portfolio was fine but my resume was doing me no favors. What finally helped was running it through ResumeJudge to see if the file was ATS-friendly, then matching the wording to the exact posting instead of using one general version for everything. Even small stuff like headers, two-column layouts, and missing role keywords can tank callbacks.
If you want, paste the text version of page 1 too, because the tiny details matter way more than people think. Also curious, are you applying through Workday type portals or mostly getting referred and then hearing nothing after?
Oh yes, you can come off too desperate for a job. I know it affects my opinions of candidates.
