Is this normal. The last two admin. Assistant roles I have there has not been enough work to keep busy. I’m keeping my current job but have started looking for the next opportunity. When I’m at work I want to feel useful and 4 hours of down time is not the way to do that!

I’ve been suffering from some immunology issues and stress from work would worsen it, therefore I want to move to a company/role with good benefit (esp. healthcare) and great WLB (little chance of PIP, etc). We all had the same responsibilities, I consider I even had a heavier workload (talking in past tense since I very recently made an internal move).

Help,I started a new career n the events industry and I think I have to quit! The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor! I ended cutting my hand on an exacto knife and there was no first aid! Is this normal?

I only bring in a little over $2,600 a month. After paying all my expenses, I get to put away $500 a month in savings but don’t have much wiggle room for anything else, including going out money.

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.
