Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

A general question. For how many years of experience - lead engineer position is given in SocGen ? I know it depends on performance but have seen employees with 7+ yrs get lead position while someone like me having almost 8.8 years was still given the role of Specialist software engineer.
Joined SocGen on March 16. Société Générale

For my first 4 years at ZS I consistently got 10-14% raises in June (not including promotions)
I am from the EU - no COLA here.
Raises happen for 2 reasons:
1. Yearly raise - this happens in June
2. Promotion raise - this can either happen in June as well or Jan, depends on which cycle you are promoted in.
In non-covid times, yes. 10% bad year, 15% good year, 20% great year. Plus add 5-10% for promo if that happens.
To the B4 anything under 10k is small
8-15% Raise every June w/ promotion raises (which can be in June or December) being more so in the 20% range (COLA is not included in this just base salary)
Bonuses also 8-15% of base every December
Have had 3 raises at ZS since I joined as an A, all over 15%. Have done well with reviews
In a dream land. You may get a high increase the first couple of years if you were brought in at low end.
Actually coming in as an experienced hire so I was worried that raise would be less for me because my starting salary is higher.
True for MBB
3.4% raise pre-covid, then we had that taken away. I was told the extra .4% was to ‘make sure I stick around’. Good thing I have a long memory.
