Hi Guys,
I had referred my friend in CTS, who joined in Feb 2022 & will complete 3 months (active payroll) on 15-May-2022. I received a mail confirming my referral acceptance.
Meanwhile, I have handed in my papers & am serving my notice period with my LWD being 23-May-2022. In this case, will I receive the referral bonus?

Not for an engineer
Yes, but depends on where in Houston. 60k is like 3800$ in hand after tax, if you are in a good part of town, 1500 would probably be your rent. Use everything else sparingly. I started off with 60K and survived, you can too

Good is relative. Can you easily get by if you live within your means? Yes. Are you going to be living alone in a Montrose/Heights midrise? Probably not. Most big O&G companies start their engineers closer to $100k if you want to know where the top of the market is.
It’s fine. It’s not great, it’s not bad. Houston is an average cost of living area. You’re making a bit over the median income.
Maybe but only if you live alone or with a roommate and don’t have kids.
yes I agree, base pay for an entry level engineer is $65k if you're a mechanical MEP engineer in Cleveland. what kind of job are you getting?
