I’m lateraling into mbb after a niche ops role in finance. My end goal is a tech business role. My reasoning for not going into tech directly:

1. Unclear where good entry points are into roles like bizops and product marketing.

2. Many of the “entry level” roles (including programs like google apmm) have a preference for consulting candidates

3. Too early to use bschool to switch

Boyfriend has an adult daughter. He texts me he was on his way on Valentines Day (45 mins from me) and 4 hours go by - nothing. Called and he says he’s in the hospital with his daughter. I fully understand stuff happens but I also don’t understand why he couldn’t shoot me a text to say he wasn’t coming. I was so excited to see him since he had grandiose plans. He answers his phone when I call and then disappears the next day. Am I wrong for expecting him to communicate the change at minimum?

Had two rounds of phone interviews with G, the recruiter called a week after the first one and scheduled me for a second. I thought the second one went really well. But the recruiter has been ghosting me ever since, 3.5 weeks now. I wrote a not after 2, but no reply. Ghosting - is that common? I don’t think it is a reject yet, I am told G always calls back if it is a reject. Delays and ghosting usually happens if you are cleared for next, but they are working on the logistics, potential team etc
