I’ve been an SDR for 18 months now and I’m consistently hitting 120% of my quota, but my company keeps moving the goas for my promotion to AE. My manager says the headcount isn't there, yet I see them hiring external AEs on LinkedIn. I’m starting to think they just want to keep me here. At what point do you stop being loyal and just jump ship for the title?

Has anyone received equity as contingency comp? I have a potential client with a founders dispute. He doesn’t have cash, and the other founder ripped him off and is now running the company. Is It better to join a PE Tech company in an impending recession or stay with a public company ?

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

The pay is good but I’ve seen a handful of websites with employee rating that is really bad. Each site has roughly 10 reviews but most are negative. Mostly referring to toxic culture and zero work life balance. How true is this in this sales org and the company in general? This is a backfill role after a 3 year tenure for the person who left.

/160k OTE role out of Plano TX

I’m intrigued but I want to know 2 things:
1. Culture/WLB - how is it?
2. Realistic market opportunity/opportunity to crush quota (obv dependent on many things)

Background: Currently making 95k/160k OTE at a boutique research and consulting firm. I’m happy but we’re extremely flat with little to no opp for promotion in the next 2+ years.

If I have to book 20 meetings a month, how many conversations do I need to be having a day ( email, LinkedIn, cold calls, dark social ) with a drop out rate at 20%.
