I'm interviewing for a project manager position at a place that provides support for a prominent Bay Area tech company. I was approached by a recruiter from Planet Technology. The role is a 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension. What's the minimum hourly wage I'd need to make in order to live comfortably and afford health insurance in San Jose? I'm 30 years old w/out kids. My husband is currently unemployed so this is assuming that I'm supporting us both. Appreciate any advice!

How client-facing is FDD work? More or less than audit? How often do you find yourself chatting with a client vs doing back end work?
Pricing Strategy vs. Marketing Communications (both in Pharma)? Which role do you guys/gals believe better sets one up for a leadership role in marketing in the future. Comp for both roles are equivalent and I like both specializations equally, so neither comp nor interest is a factor. Only factor I’m weighing is which is a better path towards potential leadership role in the future. T.I.A!!!
Hi Everyone, Could anyone help me to understand the salary bifurcation of Wipro. I am not able to understand how much will be my in-hand salary per month. Thanks in advance !
Hi All, Am a developer mainly working with SQL and I want to move to AWS (devops), so I started to learn & practice few tools such as terraform, saltstack, prometheus, etc. But I do not have hands on a live project, any ideas if companies would take in beginners in AWS ? Even though there are cloud projects in my domain it is a bit difficult to get into those projects as my lead & manager give me the standard answer "you're a critical resource for our project" :( Any advice guys ? Currently interviewing with Infosys - 2 interviews down. Mainly marketing/digital background. Close to graduating with my MBA - looking to make the switch into consulting. Would be a senior consultant role. Any idea on the salary range? How much I can negotiate? Thanks!

Ideas for team bonding activity in COVID? We just wrapped up a project and usually we’d go out for a dinner together but that’s not happening under COVID. What has worked for your team?
I hated my project for reasons both legitimate and petty. I worked fairly hard for awhile, diplomatically rolled off, and got a better project. I'm happier now. Ama!
I think key to retention today is Work Life Balance and firm's culture (barring exceptions). If an employee is treated as an equal partner (ofcors without equity😉), s(he) wont start looking out in the first place. While all seem to be talking of promoting this, very few practice. I dont think am going to ever leave Google just for sake of higher compensation. #views are personal and situational.
What NFTs do people hold here? I have some bananas as well as some astrohedz. About to sprin up a project in a week and drop some new NFTs

How does charging the client work in the event you finish early? Recently joined consulting. From my understanding, as a Consultant, a metric they judge us on is utilization. If you are booked on projects totaling 40 hours (100%) but do not have enough work to fill in the time or you finish early, do you book less time? My assumption is that would hurt utilization but also does not seem ethical KPMG Deloitte
I’ve worked at my new job for 3 months & already feeling burned out and unmotivated for one client. I’ve had talks with my boss and the account manager about some improvements and such. But thinking about looking around? Thought? Too soon? Should I wait it out?

Anyone recommend a good resource capacity planner software or tool? My team currently uses an excel spreadsheet, but it feels like a useless tool with the information being captured. It could be that we need to be better about maintaining it as a team, but trying to work smarter not harder. Thoughts?

Between two offers, "Associate Principal" for m&a consulting in the Healthcare industry vs a Director at a F300 company doing M&A and Partnerships. Consulting pays about 50k more. What does the future look like in consulting? I am a bit nervous jumping from from "industry side" to the "consulting side".

Those who are or have been AUSAs, what sort of letters of recommendation make the most impact on an application (outside of a former AUSA/judge etc..)? My issue is prior to my current firm doesn’t seem to value the AUSA experience, we have no former AUSA’s in my office and only a view in the whole firm nationwide (same goes for clerks), and I was a transactional associate at my first firm so don’t think anything anyone would have to say would be particularly interesting to a hiring panel...
