“Reflecting on and adopting the use of micro-affirmations would be a positive strategy to prevent microaggressions. Micro-affirmations are small acts that foster inclusion, listening, comfort and support for people who may feel isolated or invisible in their environment. Focus on action, not avoidance – create new good behaviours.”

I have worked with so many different cultures throughout my careers and I think universally the most important aspect is for your pt to know you truly want to provide the best care for them that you can. Tell them you don't ever want to offend them and if you do to please tell you so you don't do it again. Ask questions about the cultures to the receptionists, the nurses, radiology tech etc. In one very culturally sensitive place I worked I asked a lot of questions about issues. I found people that were more than willing to share since my desire was sincere. Go to a public event for a culture. Eat at an ethnic restaurant. Remember this takes the tincture of TIME.
I applaud your concerns to do well with this aspect of care!
