I've been with our small business for 4 years. I have been in management for the past year. I love our company, i love what we do, and I love our clients. I have my yearly review in 2 weeks. I know there is not much room for growth now that I'm managing, the only position above me are the owners. How do I tell the owners I want to continue to be a part of the company, but need to know there is more room for me to grow?

Where should I apply if I want to exit consulting but significantly increase my TC. Currently ~250k (200k base, 50k billable bonus).

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.
