I’ve been wondering if I’m just lazy or actually sleep-deprived. I can survive on 6 hours a night, but I usually hit a wall by noon. 8 hours is the sweet spot for me to feel human. How much sleep do you need to get through the day without crashing?

7 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

You are sleep deprived. Read the book Why We Sleep if you want to understand why.

I get 7-7.5, but am always striving for 8.

I try to go to bed at a time that will be 9 hours before morning alarm. In my mind, that accounts for the times I wake up thru the night ;)

Depends how much energy your day requires

Additional Posts in Staying Healthy

I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously. I haven’t found what I need to motivate myself and I’m hoping that others could share what motivates them to get back into it after a hectic time
