Nice! Have fun. 2nd swing has some good used clubs for cheaper. If you can go out on a course and book it (late afternoon or weekday) when you don’t have a group directly before or after you it takes some pressure off
2nd Swing is great. Another tip? Be okay w fact that once you play there’ll be peaks and valleys, especially early on. That’s golf—so don’t get frustrated. Keep swinging. Amazing game
What’s your advice to start learning golf in metropolitan such as NYC? Is driving range a good place to start? Thx
In NYC you can start at Chelsea piers! That’s what I did :) and there’s some good golf clubs around too! Five Boroughs Golf Club is great
If you want to improve, keep going to the range and try to be on the course every week. See if you can get the same amount of hours at the range as being on the course. Identify weak points/skill gaps and have lesson to improve specifics. The most fun for me was going to range and course with buddies, sneaking in beers and losing a ton of balls. Just have fun!!

Also take up skiing for the winter so you can have year-round lifelong sports/hobbies that are so expensive you’ll want to keep progressing in your career
