I've recently joined a new company, but I'm concerned about potential layoffs due to gaps in my product understanding and coding standards. Does anyone think it’s weird that my firm is bending over backwards to try to keep a first year staff from leaving the firm after she was rated a 2 this year. But now she’s trying to leave and they keep trying to push her to stay saying she can be a partner in 8-9 years and laying it all out in detail. The issue is they laid off other staff (all but her) so maybe that’s it? Find it very odd.

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!

I tried so hard today to finish all my errands and read and even worked out. And I'm taking medication and keeping my diet healthy. But today I realized I don't have anyone to talk to anymore when this image of me hanging keep popping up in my head. I couldn't even tell my psychiatrist.
