I've spent the last 20 years working in big tech and everything we do seems so pointless when we could be tackling climate change or doing other good in the world. I've been applying for product management roles in climate but not getting any traction for a year now. I'm considering doing a postgraduate course to switch roles but not sure which would be the most useful and best fit for me. My most transferable skills seem to be related to project management and leadership. Any advice?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports.
