Just accepted that I’m very unhappy with my job but I have no idea what other opportunities there are that would be better. I’m a senior level 2 with 4 years of experience in tax at EY. I loved being a staff and preparing work papers and returns but I don’t enjoy the admin responsibility of keeping things on track or reviewing returns. Not looking forward to being promoted if I’m already not enjoying the responsibilities of a senior. Any advice or recommendations? Has anyone been in my shoes?

Looking for some advice on a career change. I work in a technical role and have well-developed soft skills. I want to transition to UX (w/ focus on accessibility). There are a lot of UX educational programs out there, some very new, e.g. Dribbble, and costs are all over the place - General Assembly is $15k (and full-time), CareerFoundry almost $8k, and then many others at a fraction of the price. Reviews also vary wildly. Are these more expensive programs worth the huge increase in cost?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover
