Has anyone here experienced an offer being taken away due to negotiation terms? I got a PM offer after being told I was a “unanimous strong yes”. After sending a professional note negotiating compensation, WFH, and PTO benefits , the company calls me and says they no longer find me a good fit and asked me to decline. Like what???Like at least send a counter offer or have the decency to say it in writing. You’re encouraging women to not negotiate SMH. Deeply disappointed in Capital One

Oh yeah. Went up to 20 last summer. And I am only talking about classes. My gym membership is 65. But I also do the occasional Bikram yoga, kickboxing, or spin class. Honestly I have never personally had a problem or known anyone else to have a problem with expensing fitness while traveling. I have seen plenty of people get nastygrams for charging non approved expenses to the fitness subsidy. Mostly people buying running shoes.
Ah I see. As someone who did a two week trial at Gold's in LA... Equinox or a more pricey alternative is well worth the money. The location I went to by EY was full of 50 year old creeps that would stare at you like a piece of meat. Would always be out of towels, smelled bad, locker rooms seemed unclean, etc. Group classes also weren't up to par and the machines were always taken. Anyways, I obviously didn't sign the contract. Got a membership at CorePower Yoga - they have 200 locations across the country that you can use with no extra charge so it's perfect for a consultant. If you sign up when a new one is opening, your membership will be super discounted (I think mine is $115/month). I recommend their heated sculpt class - it will change your life!

D6 your info is outdated. We get $20/day during travel. Also I expense Classpass which is way more than that but I use the argument that it's for 30 days vs a one time pass

PwC2. Review our Finance Policies. It's up to your engagement partner if he wants to pass on the expenses to the client, use his PD code, or eat it out of profits. Be sure to cite the policy, however, many Partners are unaware of the policy.
I had one partner refuse to pay for it, regardless of the policy. Pick your battles. Don't piss anyone off over it. But generally citing the policy and saying the hotel gym isn't enough, is sufficient.

Gym at client site is expensable. Not sure if we have a policy on how much, but would need to be reasonable.
So Accenture doesn't offer anything like this? Cause the gym in my hotel on site is a set of Dumbbells up to 50 and a treadmill
Correction. Deloitte does 50% of APPROVED fitness expenses up to $500. And they do $15/day while traveling. You charge your membership/classes to the project while traveling. Depending on your PC they are cool with more than $15/day if it averages out to that in a week.
75% QoL reimbursement of anything fitness-related (including Apple Watch, gaming console etc) up to $500. Plus, $15 per day while traveling on project. Corporate discount for gyms are regional; we have over 50% off for Golds in LA
EY had a QoL quarterly , up to 500$/yr. gym memberships, anything health related , gym equipment , etc.
