Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!

HR makes up and changes rules as they go along. I have no respect for any B4 HR.
Also I didn't know HR was allowed to say anything to my team?
I think it's just common curtesy to tell your team. It's nothing to hide. If they found out from Hr just let them know hr beat you to it. Play it cool
Groups within the same firm are not going to steal resources from each other unless they know everyone is on board.
Unfortunately you are to naive.
Screwed fosho😐
You're supposed to talk to your coach/counselor first. You can't transfer within the company unless your current group approves it.
As someone going through a B4 service line transfer right now I'm pretty surprised you were able to get that far in the process without the blessing of your team. When I told HR about my desire to transfer they told me the first step is getting the blessing of my current group. Then we can reach out to the receiving group.
Condolences for your career
Hr should tell u to inform your team. That's what happened after my friend put in a transfer
To = too
I haven't even had the interview yet though so it's not even near a for sure thing... Should I wait till I get the transfer offer? Sorry for so many questions, I appreciate everyone's help!
We only allow transfer after you talk to your team and counsellor first, your firm should have policies in place
Which is why the quickest and easiest way to do this is to switch firms
^ Don't listen to experienced associates either. You gain nothing by leaving your current team in the dark
What was I supposed to do differently in this process to avoid being screwed? Should I bring it up to my managers
What firm are you with OP?
If you're a 3 - you'll get dropped from the engagement soon
Don't tell anyone; just do everything secretly
And realistically if they can figure out how you perform without making that much or an effort, why wouldn't they?
