Drop the word strategy pls. I beg you humbly.

Lmao right on PWC. Strategy!!! Anyone who says strategy consulting has not actually done consulting. Easiest giveaway and red flag in the world

Do you have a clearance and are you interested in human capital work?

Look at PwC digital. They may be hiring.

Awesome, I’ll take a peek! Would they be interested in a more junior employee like me?

Yes they hire loads and are not very discriminating. Their digital practice is also aligned more with marketing type work.

I actually used to do brand strategy right out of college and loved it...That is perfect!

Sorry that you are in this space but don't offer services for free please, it further devalues you as well as the others in the field. Nothing wrong with asking for a fair remuneration for your work/skills. If the macro market isn't allowing for that, pivot.

Hey there! Apologies if that came across the wrong way. I’m definitely not as tenured/talented as a lot of folks in this space, so I figured getting some experience would be helpful. Definitely don’t mean to devalue anyone else! Just having a hard time finding ways to flex/grow my skills

Still haven’t been any direct COVID cuts only performance

Hey there! I was told different in my case, but I do know I was new to the practice so I think that had something to do with it

Any tips for navigating client office politics? I’m working on a process improvement project involving multiple teams and one team feels threatened that my client team is taking work from them (and that their jobs will be in jeopardy as a consequence), and they are slowing down progress which prevents me from doing my job. Client execs are aware but have their hands tied. What’s the best way around this?

A colleague shared with me the presentation they have prepared for their promotion case. I worked with them on multiple projects during the year and I can clearly see that some of the claims on the deck are wild exaggeration or lies. For example, managed changes in scope for Project X including contract changes. Plot twist: there never was a change of scope for Project X and the contract is exactly the same. How can people be so dishonest? How far can you go before truth catching up?

I’m not a shy person, but I’ve always had issues speaking in front of groups. I grew up with a lisp (which I’ve since overcome), but I still stumble over my words a lot. I think COVID has exacerbated this a lot since I’m not able to see my teammates or read their body language. I’m a scrum master, so leading calls is sorta in the job description. Any suggestions on how to become a better professional speaker?
